Advancements in technology and access to justice concerns have forced the way we deliver legal services to change at an alarming rate.
As the legal profession continues to evolve, many new ideas are being brought to the table, two of which include, Alternative Business Structures and Limited License Legal Technicians.
On September 16, 2015, the Chicago Bar Association (CBA) is hosting a future law seminar entitled, “Dismay or Delight: Alternative Business Structures, Limited License Legal Technicians & Proactive Ethical Infrastructures” to gauge the windy city’s perception of these hot button issues demanding discussion within the legal profession.
The future law presentations will include remarks from Jerome Larkin, Administrator of the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission, Ellyn Rosen, Deputy Director of the ABA Center for Professional Responsibility, and Jayne Reardon, Executive Director of the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism, and the discussion as a whole will be moderated by Hon. Thomas R. Mulroy of the Circuit Court of Cook County and CBA Second Vice President.
