The Resilient Lawyer
Lawyer resiliency is increasingly coming into focus in the broader attorney well-being discussion. Surprisingly, research shows that lawyers on average demonstrate lower resiliency than the general population. A lack of resiliency can be especially challenging in the high-pressure legal profession, leading to behaviors that can impact long-term well-being.
The Resilient Lawyer explores how the daily challenges in lawyers’ personal and professional lives test their resiliency. The course also demonstrates how developing a resilient mindset can help manage those challenges.
The 30-minute, interactive eLearning will help attorneys:
- Connect the unique professional challenges of the legal profession to some of the behaviors associated with low levels of resiliency.
- Understand how thinking flexibly, prioritizing well-being, and building strong relationships help build resiliency in your legal practice.
- Use the results of a self-assessment to identify your own ways to build resiliency as a lawyer.
These strategies are designed to help attorneys build resiliency while offering an opportunity to reflect on how they react to stressful situations.
