The Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism is pleased to announce that early bird registration is open for its fifth annual The Future Is Now: Legal Services conference. The conference will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2020, at Venue SIX10 in Chicago.
The Future Is Now will feature 11 industry-leading speakers tackling pressing topics in the legal profession, the judiciary, and organizational leadership. In a series of TED-like talks and interactive townhall discussions, speakers will provide practical tips for improving the practice of law and discuss trends that are reshaping the profession.
For the first time, the 2020 conference will feature a keynote session that dives deeper into an issue with the potential to significantly impact the industry. In this session, Tim Eaton, Partner at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, and Zack DeMeola, Manager at the Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System, will join Jayne Reardon, Executive Director of the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism, to discuss the implications of recommended regulations of legal entities and reforms to the Rules of Professional Conduct that are being debated in Illinois, Utah, California, Arizona, and other states across the U.S.
“We’re thrilled to open registration for The Future Is Now 2020 and announce our speaker lineup,” said Reardon. “The conference continues to be a must-attend for legal and judicial professionals and entrepreneurs who seek to be more efficient, productive, and competitive in the changing legal landscape.”
